Kathleen Reeder and her husband, Justin Reeder are the founders of The Bead Lady (tm) in Concord, North Carolina. Their store is a unique retail/wholesale bead and custom design jewelry studio. They opened their first bead store in November of 2002 and have been growing and serving Cabarrus County, the surrounding counties,and North Carolina for years. They are also on the national level with their websites and jewelry recognition.
The Reeders' believe in balance being the key to life in their business. They practice a lifestyle that is conducive to bringing peace and happiness to themselves and then ultimately to their customers and working partners. Their customers and partners are always first in their business philosophy above all else in their daily business life. Their jewelry is always made with love and is given the attention to detail.
They are passionate about their own organic farming and they grow their own food all year long. The whole family practices the martial arts and believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle. They are grounded in the reality that we are not guaranteed tomorrow and we strive to live life daily. They always strive to do the right thing. They are constantly seeking God, balance, & truth. One of their favorite verses is “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Timothy 2 1:7
People come from all over the United States and the world to visit The Bead Lady. The physical store is over 3100sqf of beads, gemstones, pearls, metals, crystals and findings that are used to create one of a kind pieces of jewelry for the individual, bride/prom or a mass production for fundraisers for organizational groups.

IT’S PARTY TIME!
Come and celebrate your special day with us! We have an entire room, designated especially for the birthday girl, as well as a gift from us at The Bead Lady TM. Most parties last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We provide the plates, cups, napkins, and forks. And the tables are filled with a variety of beads, and base metal silver to choose from, and candy to enjoy. When you decide on a date for the birthday girl there is a $30.00, non-refundable room fee due when you book the party. We cannot reserve the room until this fee is paid. You may drop the room fee by the shop or mail a check to us. Please make note that this fee is not applied to the party. There are three price levels to choose from:
$12.00 + tax (per person) You may make a bracelet $20.00 + tax (per person) Two items are made at this level: bracelet and earrings, or two bracelets, or two earrings $25.00 + tax (per person) Two items are made at this level: choker and bracelet, or choker and earrings
We will call the day before your scheduled party for a guaranteed number of people. The number guaranteed is what you will be billed for the day of the party. However, if you have more that what was originally guaranteed, we can always add to your bill. Also please feel free to drop by and check out the party room!
Evenings available for parties upon request.
We also offer service to Girl Scout Troops (they can earn a badge here!), Mom groups, Ladies Night Out, Corporate events, etc. We look forward to seeing you soon!
